Port Albert Fishing Competition January 13th-14th,2024
The weather was perfect, although it was a bit windy on Saturday morning, however the wind subsided around lunch time. Sunset on Saturday afternoon was spectacular.
Some big fish were caught on Thursday and Friday outside the competition, the biggest one being caught by Don Elso, with a 74 cm flathead.
A total of 47 fish (23.5 kgs) were caught for both days.
As usual, the company was great and the fish and chips for dinner was nice – thanks to the club for sponsoring the dinner.
The general meeting will be held on Monday 5th of February, where the results will be announced. We hope to see you there!
