Anglers
On Saturday the weather was average, with drizzling rain all morning and cloudy, with no wind. A little bit of side drift and the sea was calm with white foam from the waves, perfect for the salmon. Some of us caught early morning and others at high tide. Total for Saturday for seven anglers: 67 fish, 73 kgs, two of the salmons weighing 3.30 kgs.
Sunday the weather was better and the water calm. It was harder to catch and 27 fish was caught by five anglers.
No one fished on Monday.
For the weekend, a total of 94 fish was caught, totalling 92.45 kgs!
The Club subsided for the sausages and burgers on Saturday night.
Company was great and we all had fun around the fire. Results will be announced at the next Annual General Meeting on July 2nd. We hope to see everyone there.
